The Second Annual Live On Cinema Oscar Special was streamed live on March 2, 2014. Tim, Gregg, and guests gather to celebrate Hollywood's biggest night.

Synopsis[]

Tim appears with one minute left on the streaming countdown, berating the crew and threatening to cancel the show as Gregg and Mark Proksch look on in awkward silence. Mark (as W.C. Fields) then welcomes the viewers to the show and introduces the guests before turning it over to Tim and Gregg (the latter dressed as Bilbo Baggins). Gregg predicts that "The Hobbit 2" (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug) will unexpectedly sweep the Oscars.

Tim introduces his new song, "Oscar Fever", followed by Gregg's video tour of the Kodak Theater, the site of the Oscar ceremony. Following this, Tim (with the aid of a "touchscreen") and Gregg discuss the Oscar nominees, and Gregg reiterates that The Hobbit 2 will sweep, thanks to a write-in blank he believes is on the ballot. They turn to their red carpet reporter, Larry Turman, for live updates, but he does not appear on the live feed. Tim then launches into a spiel on current geopolitics, to which Gregg adds that today's issues are tomorrow's movies. The pair then take their first sips of champagne of the night following a toast. Another attempt to talk to Larry Turman fails, angering Tim, who blames the crew for disrupting the feed.

After a short break, Gregg announces that he has a "big surprise" lined up for the Special's finale. A segment airs in which Joe Estevez and John Aprea, playing Oscar hosts, award Best Actor to Tim. After this, Tim and Gregg ask Mark to showcase some of his impressions, including Robin Williams and Mae West. A segment about early Oscar-winning films called "Oscar Memory Lane" is continually interrupted by Tim.

Tim appears more inebriated and disruptive following the second break. Joe Estevez comes on for an interview, and a scene from Decker, featuring Joe as President Davidson, is played. Mark then appears as Charlie Chaplin, and is confused by Tim's incoherent instructions. After Joe leaves the stage, Tim begins a game of Stump the Buff, during which Gregg retaliates with a question of his own for Tim (Stump the Host). A photo tribute version of the "Oscar Memory Lane" segment plays.

When the show returns from a break, Tim becomes even more erratic, disrupting Gregg's segment "When Oscar Got It Wrong" by uncorking a champagne bottle and angrily grabbing Gregg's notecards. Another break is followed by an interview with Sally Kellerman. They ask her about her career and her experience as an Oscar nominee, as Tim diligently refills their champagne glasses. Tim tries to redirect the conversation into geopolitics at one point, which Gregg nixes.

After Kellerman leaves, Mark reappears on stage as W.C. Fields, as Tim noisily chows down on Chinese food. A poorly edited video segment from Gregg airs, in which Peter Jackson wins Best Director for The Hobbit 2, and thanks Gregg in his acceptance speech. A disheveled Tim sings "Oscar Fever" again after a break, but becomes nauseated midway through, forcing another break, during which he urinates on set. He then messes with the "touchscreen" for a moment before bumping his head on a monitor, forcing yet another break. The show returns with a thoroughly hammered Tim throwing food at Mark and Gregg, who flee the stage.

Mark does his W.C. Fields pantomime, which Tim stops after a few minutes. Tim launches into another current events spiel, and then begins his concluding "thanks" speech, thanking everyone from Vladimir Putin ("for deciding what to do for the rest of the world") and gumbo ("for being so delicious"). He then turns it over to Gregg for his "Big Surprise" finale, and disrupts Gregg's introduction several times before finally allowing the finale to proceed. Gregg lifts a curtain to reveal a set of standing VHS tapes, arranged like dominoes to spell the word "OSCER." Gregg proclaims "Viva el Oscar!" and knocks them over. Unimpressed, Tim takes Gregg to task for misspelling Oscar. Gregg insists it is "spelled both ways," before walking off set, humiliated.
